About the Position:

Serves as the Program Analyst for the Army Joint Munitions Command (JMC) Operations Center Battle Rhythm Planner, provides operational information, guidance, and oversight for training plans and readiness reporting within the headquarters and in coordination with Army depots, plants, munitions centers, and activities.

Responsibilities Execute plans and prepares analysis for the Army Joint Munitions Command (JMC) Operations Center. Initiate change to Command policies and procedures to sustain initiatives, program objectives, best business practices, and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with AMC and JMC leadership and staff, installation commanders/staff to implement and sustain initiatives, program objectives, best practices, and continuous improvement.

Prepare documents to include After Action Reports (AARs), Incident Reports, Exercise Message traffic, Mission Messages, Warning/Fragmentary/Operation Orders, ensuring the information is complete, organized, accurate, and correctly formatted.

Use knowledge of command structure, missions, programs and organizational relationships to compose reports, set requirements, and influence operations.

Specialized Experience:

I have one year of specialized experience which includes reviewing operational plans for war planning, execution, and related exercises; providing recommendations to initiate change in policies and procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations; and integrating ammunitions into operational plans.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Grade Requirement:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11) within 30 days of the closing date of the vacancy announcement.

Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
