- Specialized care for patients with bone and joint infections, including diagnosis, treatment, and management.
- Thorough evaluations of patients with infectious diseases, encompassing history taking, physical examination, and necessary diagnostic tests.
- Development and execution of personalized treatment plans based on best practices and individual patient needs.
- Close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, working alongside orthopedic surgeons, microbiologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
- Participation in infectious diseases consultations for complex cases and provision of expert advice to healthcare professionals.
- Patient, family, and caregiver education on infectious diseases, treatment choices, and preventive measures.
- Involvement in scholarly activities such as research, academic presentations, and contributions to medical literature.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Diseases.
- Fellowship training in Infectious Diseases, with a focus on bone and joint infections preferred.
- Current medical licensure in the state of Florida or eligibility for licensure.
- Demonstrated experience in managing bone and joint infections in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Sharp clinical judgment and diagnostic abilities.
