    Occupational Therapist (OT) Needed for School Setting - Close to Torrance, CA

    Soliant Health, a respected healthcare staffing firm, is actively looking for an Occupational Therapist for a school-based position near Torrance, CA.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with students, educators, and parents to evaluate and cater to each student's distinct requirements.
    • Devise and execute personalized treatment plans aimed at improving students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and overall functional capabilities.
    • Offer direct therapy to students, whether individually or in group settings, aligned with their educational objectives.
    • Adjust classroom setups and suggest adaptive tools or assistive technology when needed to bolster students' involvement and triumph in academic and social pursuits.
    • Maintain precise records of student advancement, communicate proficiently with pertinent parties, and actively engage in team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) deliberations.

    Requirements:

    • Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist license.
    • Completion of a Masters Degree program from an accredited Occupational Therapy institution.
    • A passion for working with children and a strong commitment to making a beneficial impact in a schoolbased environment.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with students, parents, educators, and other professionals.
    • Capability to adjust therapy methods and strategies based on each student's unique needs and capabilities.
