    About the Job:

    Join our team as a Project Operations Support Specialist at our company. In this role, located in Fulton County, GA, Cobb County, GA, you will be a crucial part of ensuring the seamless operation and timely completion of a variety of technical projects. As a key support for our project managers, you will collaborate closely with subcontractors, focusing on project operations and management. This opportunity is perfect for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and excels in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Track project deadlines and ensure all milestones are met
    • Take and track actions to ensure project tasks are completed on time
    • Schedule and set up meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared
    • Assist in project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project progress
    • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project requirements are understood and met
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
    • Support project managers in the development and implementation of project plans and schedules
    • Monitor project performance, investigate issues, recommend solutions, and provide regular updates to project managers
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders
    • Travel to meet subcontractor project team, visit corporate KBR office in Huntsville, AL, and occasionally attend project meetings at various US destinations

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field preferred but not required
    • 5 to 10 years of task-related experience required
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn project management software and practices
    • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and processes
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
    • Previous experience in project coordination, administration, or management
