    Our 10 people team consists of ex-YC founders leading our engineering effort, ex-Uber & Doordash folks leading our operations and supply strategy.

    Alongside our Growth team is lead by folks who went to Cambridge, Oxford and UC Berkeley.
    Business challenge Fleek is a cross-border video commerce platform. As a technologist your role is to solve business growth problems. We at Fleek believe every engineer is a product-engineer From building realtime streaming for efficient video commerce, to building a payment stack scaling with 20+ countries (yes we are Global already. You will have impact the business from Demand, Supply to Operations

    Technology stack Fleek is built with a modern native stack with Javascript as its backbone and React, React Native as the frameworks for app development.

    We have two buyer and supplier facing apps on App Store and Play Store. We also have a website that currently runs on Shopify (to be soon deprecated).

    We employ AWS as our cloud provider and use technologies in OpenSearch, DataFlow and Lambda, Video streaming to build on top.

    Our philosophy is to reuse where possible and innovate when we can add value.
    How we work Fast - we move fast because there are small business owner who count on us. We have a duty to ship solutions for them and we can't be lazy about it. Big things can also happen fast
    Remote first - current team members are in Asia, Europe and US. There are team specific meetings where we need time to overlap, the rest is flexible. Like
    Collaborative - just like in sports, we focus on winning

    Requirements
    Fleek has ~ 5,000 MAU businesses (online & offline) buying regularly. We are looking to revamp the entire website (which is currently written in Liquid / Shopify into a native React stack which connects to our own bespoke backend.
    We are looking for a Frontend Ninja who has 5+ years of experience building websites. If you are fullstack it is a huge plus.

    In your role you will be:
    Responsible for architecting, developing & launching our brand new website from scratch.
    Implement a smooth flow for customers from Onboarding to Checkout collaborating closely with an in-house product designer.
    Implement a native P2P video experience for the video shopping experience
    Ability to communicate, guide and lead small software teams in terms of best practices in technology
    In this role you will determine your own scope. We are looking for folks who can get deep with code as well as help build out an engineering team for scale
