    PPD is actively seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Associate Account Director to become part of our Business Development (BD) team. This role is specifically focused on supporting PPD's Accelerated Enrollment Solutions (AES) business segment. The AES BD unit is exceptionally dynamic, presenting an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your proven proficiency in identifying and securing new business prospects.

    AES stands as the global leader in patient recruitment, boasting a vast worldwide patient database and a network of over 180 specialized research sites. Our core aim is to offer predictability in budgeting and expediency in the ever-changing realm of patient recruitment.

    • Secure and foster business relationships through proactive, consultative sales approaches targeting key decision-makers and influencers.
    • Establish AES as the top or preferred service provider, assess deals, and formulate proposals.
    • Act as the primary point of contact/support until the deal is finalized, then oversee and ensure a successful implementation.
    • Function as a bridge between sponsors and the company regarding BD initiatives, gather intelligence on market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies.

    Requirements for the role:

    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline, or possess a comparable blend of education and experience providing the necessary competencies for the role.
    • Minimum of 2 years' sales background in the industry, preferably within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or Contract Research Organizations (CROs).

    Skills and competencies:

    • Demonstrable sales experience, showcasing proactive and persistent sales tactics.
    • Proficiency in identifying and nurturing sales leads, delivering professional presentations, managing the sales process to completion, and handling elements of contract negotiations.
    • Background in scientific, sales, or marketing fields.
