We are looking for a Sachbearbeiter (m/f/d) in the field of engine maintenance for our client, Lufthansa Technik AG at Hamburg Airport, located in Prospect Heights, IL.

The starting salary is between EUR gross per month.


Your responsibilities:


  • Coordinate necessary maintenance measures and associated costs and lead times with production units, production management, and customer service
  • Plan, process, and monitor repair orders
  • Determine and implement maintenance scope according to workscope from customer/LHT Engineering
  • Monitor, control, and take responsibility for maintenance events in terms of scope and execution based on agreed target parameters (TAT, costs, quality), including creating findings and utilization calculations
  • Track, investigate, and arrange for corrective measures for all engine areas, including S/C, and ensure their approval and implementation
  • Handle material tracking and clarifications responsibly (such as pipes, airfoils, storage measuring room, surplus, S/C), including processing customer inquiries and offers in coordination with product management
  • Define measures for quality assurance in the maintenance process
  • Ensure timely delivery of customer documentation and maintain related systems and documents (especially creating transfer reports)
  • Ensure availability of all relevant components for table inspection
  • Take on special tasks, participate in projects, or lead them

Your qualifications:


  • Completed training and further education as an aviation technician (m/f/d)
  • Good knowledge of engine maintenance and engine system connections
