    Job Description

    Verisk is looking for a skilled engineer to join their team and contribute to implementing best practices in the cloud environment.

    As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your expertise in Cloud-specific technologies and services while actively participating in shaping Verisk's Cloud Strategy.

    • Deploy applications through automated processes by managing CI/CD pipelines
    • Create and maintain infrastructure using code
    • Architect highly available and cost-efficient systems
    • Monitor and support production environments to ensure system stability
    • Provide off-hour support for troubleshooting mission-critical applications
    • Collaborate with various business units to innovate and drive solutions

    • Suggest solutions aligned with business needs
    • Offer configuration recommendations and support
    • Assist in project development and implementation planning
    • Contribute to the cloud architecture team

    In addition to the technical responsibilities, you should have experience in enterprise architecture, AWS, monitoring tools, containers, Python development, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and agile methodologies. Any certifications related to cloud technologies will be a plus.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in building enterprise architecture solutions
    • Familiarity with AWS and cloud architecture
    • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Dynatrace and New Relic
    • Experience with containers, docker, and kubernetes
    • Expertise in Python development and Infrastructure as Code tools
    • Proficiency in CI/CD and configuration management tools
    • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA
    • BA or BS degree required
