- Collaborate closely with our local and global Engineering and DevOps teams to
improve the operational performance of our platforms running in the data center and
in the cloud. - Maintain and troubleshoot hardware components within the data center environment.
Design and improve the resilience, scaling, security, and robustness of production
infrastructure systems - Proactively react to outage or service level degradation scenarios
-Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard the integrity of hardware
systems and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data
center operations. - Continuously improve regular operations by automating procedures and optimizing
processes. - Be part of On-Call/Duty rotation
- Fully understand requirements and interpret them into practical solutions.
- Deliver high-quality work while meeting business deadlines
- Ensure high-uptime platform stability
- Continuously expand your knowledge and skills to ensure our team
remains at the forefront of cost-effective DevOps practices. - Be adaptable to handling changing priorities, new tasks, and evolving project
requirements. - Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and knowledge sharing
between DevOps and other departments - 5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong understanding and knowledge of CI/CD processes-Experience with designing and building automation
- Experience in IaC and with configuration automation tools such as Ansible and
Terraform. - Experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies - Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Experience with Google Cloud (or other cloud providers)
- Expertise in one or more programming language (C# or Java preferred)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, CheckMK)
- Understanding of security hardening, access management practices
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Be able to clearly convey your ideas, actively listen to others, and explain
complex technical concepts in a way that non-technical team members can
understand. - Be adaptable to handling changing priorities, new tasks, and evolving project
requirements. - A DevSecOps mindset is an advantage for this role
