Key Responsibilities

Read, review and interpret travelers and prints
Review and analyze Cross Section using microscope
Identify defects according to IPC
Grind mounds, arrange coupons, polish and set up final cross section
Perform basic microsection duties in a timely manner
Computer data entry of cross section results
Produce reports on all class and type
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) as needed.

Required Skills:

Knowledge in understanding prints and specifications
Ability to visually verify fine detail work
Ability to pull/lift and carry 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand/walk for a long period of time
Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job

Preferences

Trained in 6012, 6013 and TM 650
Certified in IPC 600

Experience Requirements

12 years minimum experience in microsection

Education Requirements

High School Diploma
