- Develop and maintain demand forecasting models based on historical data, market trends, and business intelligence.
- Monitor and evaluate the accuracy of demand forecasts against actual sales data.
- Identify and analyze discrepancies to continuously improve forecasting accuracy.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective replenishment of materials and products.
- Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels while minimizing holding costs.
- Maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand and prevent stockouts.
- Identify and address potential risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions in the supply of materials.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Generate reports and insights for management and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, and sales, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience in forecasting, vendor management, procurement, or related roles.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic supply chain environment.
