- Have full knowledge and understanding of all contract documents (All drawings – Architectural, Structural, Site, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, all contract specifications).
- Perform detailed material and labor take-offs utilizing our estimating software for all mechanical and/or plumbing piping. Assign labor hours for all tasks including but not limited to Equipment, demolition, mobilization, specialty installations, seismic, wind restraints, etc.
- Review proposals/estimates with department manager, VP of estimating, project manager, etc as necessary prior to submitting.
- Become involved in local industry organizations and attend networking events/meetings in one or more of the following: ASME, ASHRAE, PMCA, PHCC, PSIC, BOMA, etc.
- Degree qualified .
- Experience working in the industrial services or mechanical engineering sector.
