- Design and create new Oracle databases for on-premises and cloud applications.
- Collaborate with Architecture and Application development teams on data-tier design.
- Upgrade databases, monitor health, and manage databases through the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to application development teams and fellow DBAs.
- Certification in database platforms preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.

Job Title: Senior Database Administrator
Summary of the role:
Amadeus Hospitality provides innovative solutions to hotel organizations of all sizes through cutting-edge technologies. As a Senior Database Administrator, you will work under the guidance of the Manager of Database Administration to support the database operations team. Your responsibilities will include implementing, configuring, securing, and optimizing the Amadeus Hospitality database tier. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability and performance of current and future enterprise applications that utilize Oracle, MySQL, and other emerging database technologies.
You will collaborate closely with Development, Product, and Architecture teams to guarantee the delivery of high-quality and high-performance applications.
In this role you'll:
About the ideal candidate:
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher. Master's degree preferred.
Relevant Work Experience: 8+ years managing Oracle databases, 3+ years with MySQL, and/or Postgres preferred.
Business Understanding: Knowledge of hospitality transactional patterns and Hospitality Industry domains.
