JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Administrative Assistant is a key member of the Clinical Services team.

This role supports the Nurse Leadership, Education and Clinical Services teams assisting with a wide variety of duties in the area of coordination, administrative and Clinical Service operations.


This is a 12 week Temporary, non-benefited position.

  • Education/Training: Associate degree in health care or equivalent.
  • Excellent communicator with demonstrated flexibility, motivation and positive attitude.
  • Experience: Community health experience preferred.
  • Knowledge/Skills: Basic computer skills to utilize software tracking systems. Ability to work independently, decision making ability, strong interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail and followthrough.

Compensation:
The starting rate for this position is $27.50 per hour, which reflects
the beginning of the pay scale.

Responsibilities:
Works as an integral member of the Clinical Services team.


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Serves as a liaison between Nurse Leadership, Practice management and clinical service teams to ensure smooth day to day operations as it relates to Clinical staffing support.
  • Maintains the daily clinical assignment sheet and appropriate distribution to the Clinical service and Management teams.
  • Coordinates and maintains scheduling and coverage of Nurses, Medical Assistants and Patient Care Coordinators to ensure adequate coverage for operating hours.
  • Assists and supports Nurse Leadership in maintaining uptodate and accurate time keeping in Kronos.
  • Assist Nurse Leadership with oversight of the Clinical Call Out mailbox and assigned workflows.
  • Oversight of clinical supply par levels and purchase ordering.
  • Oversight and monitoring of medical instrument transport and processing.
  • Oversight of data entry into the Share Point database.
  • Oversight of Covid 19 testing supplies and ordering.
  • Assists with Covid 19 data entry in the NHHIS system.
  • Assist with Covid 19 immune preps in Athena EMR.
  • Assist with Covid 19 patient outreach and scheduling Immunization appointments.
  • Coordinates and assists Nurse Leadership and Staff Educator with Amoskeag Health BLS program.
  • Coordinates and assists Nurse Leadership and Staff Educator with New Hire onboarding.
  • Coordinates and assists Nurse Leadership and Staff Educator with the Amoskeag Health MOAB training program.
  • Provide clear written and oral communication to both Amoskeag Health clients and employees.
  • Sensitivity to cultural diversity of population being served.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
