Leads Operators and O&M Technicians in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant.
Responsible for operating and monitoring main control system
Coordinates and works with maintenance staff on preventive and corrective maintenance functions
Performs cleaning and general housekeeping duties in work areas including office, laboratory, cleaning of clarifiers, headworks, centrifuge, and other process equipment as assigned.
May be required to work in sanitary sewerage collection systems including maintenance of lift stations.May be required to operate automotive equipment, including heavy trucks, forklifts and front-end loaders.
May train or assist in the training of OITs and assigned helpers.
Bachelor's Degree in related field/or equivalent work experience.
~8+ years of experience in the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant.
Capable of being assigned as responsible charge of the facility with an ability to react to unplanned events.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
CDL license.
