Description
Job DescriptionOur client, a leading plastics company, is currently seeking an ambitious Automation Engineer to help lead their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a go-getter attitude and a drive to succeed.Responsibilities include:
1) Provide technical expertise for mechanical, electrical and programmable logic controllers2) Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control automation project3) Evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze and determine process improvements4) Coordinate and communicate between various areas and train staff, as needed5) Prepare a plan to re-design and present such design ideas and changes for approval along with estimated costs of such projects6) Work with the Engineering Team on all new tool designs to prepare new mold EOAT for part removal and associated tooling7) Be responsible for automation projects, including the layout of conveyor, camera, sorting, inspection and part separation and quality improvement automation8) Prepare a bill of materials of products, parts and components required to complete the automation design9) Follow the organization's policies as well as any applicable laws while carrying out any of their duties10) Perform other duties as assignedCritical Requirements1) A university degree is required.
Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)3) Recent experience in the plastics industry is strongly preferred4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in automation engineeringIf you are qualified and possess superb communication skills and have the proven ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment, then this could be a great opportunity for you.
