    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
    Cogent Infotech seeks a dynamic, results-driven, and competitive individual to join our team as an Account Development Manager. We are on the lookout for a professional with high energy, experience, and motivation to play a key role in our Central/West SLED Division. In this position, you will be instrumental in cultivating meaningful relationships with our State and Local Government Clients, enhancing existing accounts, and expanding our presence within various departments under our awarded staffing contracts.

    THE ROLE
    As an Account Development Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of relationships, particularly within State and Local Government environments. While experience in these sectors is preferred, it is not mandatory. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can work independently, driving business and maximizing the potential of existing accounts.     EDUCATION:
    • Bachelor's degree; MBA strongly preferred.
    QUALITIES WE VALUE
    We are seeking candidates with 1-5 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Recruiting Representative roles, possessing the following qualities:
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong organizational and documentation skills
    • Proven cold-calling experience within departments with established contracts
    • Effective negotiating skills
    • Ability to forge robust relationships with Department Heads in State, University, and Local Municipalities
    • Results-oriented professionals with a focus on processes and a drive to succeed
    • Skillful networker with the ability to establish professional relationships through calls, emails, and meetings
    • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously
    • Prioritization skills to set and meet KPIs
    • Team player with a positive and winning attitude
    • Willingness to work a Hybrid schedule in our Irving, Texas office
    • Openness to occasional travel within the United States for client meetings
