    Description
    Represents Progress Rail in contacting customers within a defined territory regarding Kershaw Vegetation Management Equipment, products and services.
    Responsible for managing utility contractor, forestry/tree care, landscape/land clearing, and roadside maintenance accounts.

    Management Equipment products;


    • technical support;
    • Acts as liaison between Progress Rail's operations,
    Develops and implements effective sales strategies for
    new and existing customer accounts;


    • Provides marketing intelligence for current sales and
    Develops and maintains strong customer relationships to
    Provides weekly sales updates, including tracking of all
    Travels to customer sites;


    • Supports post-sales activities, including product deliver,
    customer follow-up, and A/R collection;


    • Utilizes the Salesforce platform to create quotations,
    enter weekly call reports, and manage customer
    accounts;


    • Negotiates contracts with the assistance of the legal and
    Education / Training


    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent;
    MBA preferred;


    • 3+ years of experience in commercial or agricultural
    equipment sales, preferably in the vegetation management,
    mitigate project risk;


    • Assertive leadership for directing sales efforts and
    support requirements;

    • working knowledge of PC applications – Word,
    Excel, and PowerPoint;


    • Significant domestic travel required (50+ percent);
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
    Strength – Ability to travel without restrictions and
    elevated cab equipment maintaining three points of
    Motion – Employee will be moving during travel and
    sitting when in the office;


    • Work Environment – Employee will be traveling a
    different outdoor conditions (customer jobsites and/or
    working in an office setting;


    • Safety – Position is primarily limited to general office
