    We are currently seeking a full-time critical care Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate preparation, distribution, and monitoring of various medications, including specialty drugs, while actively participating in departmental initiatives. Working under the guidance of a pharmacist, you will carry out these duties independently.

    This position involves working during the day and afternoon shifts, including rotating weekends.


    Qualifications

    Educational Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

    License/Certification/Registration Requirements:

    • Must hold a valid California Pharmacy Technician license

    Key Attributes We Are Seeking

    • Proficiency in English language (speaking, reading, and writing)
    • Capability to perform calculations involving ratios, proportions, and percentages
    • Basic computer skills essential for project completion
    • Competence in utilizing various equipment such as calculators, computers, medication carts, and automated dispensing machines
    • Flexibility in shifts, including weekends, and adaptability to different pharmacy areas

    Physical Demands:

    • Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, occasional sitting, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 pounds
    • Quick response to auditory alarms and communication devices
    • Mobility to navigate equipment, interact with patients, and assist other team members
    • Ability to read and understand medication labels
