    Description

    About the Job:

    Rx Unlimited is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Beverly Hills. If you're looking for a role with convenient hours (Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm) and zero weekend work, then this might be the perfect fit for you!

    • Handle inbound and outbound phone communications with patients.
    • Assist the pharmacist in medication preparation and dispensing.
    • Maintain patient and pharmacy records in compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
    • Reach out to patients for prescription details and verifications.
    • Respond to customer inquiries, perform data entry, and handle clerical tasks.
    • Research and resolve unpaid insurance claims and billing issues.
    • Utilize knowledge of medical billing practices and basic coding.
    • Understand pharmaceutical calculations like Day Supply.

    Qualifications:

    • Must hold a valid California Board of Pharmacy Technician license.
    • Familiarity with generic and trade drug names and pharmacy terms.
    • Awareness of HIPAA regulations.
    • At least 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
    • Experience with Pioneer RX systems is a plus.

    Schedule:

    Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm (no weekends)

    Compensation:

    $21 - $26 per hour, commensurate with experience
