My client is a renowned and internationally operating company in the chemical industry located in the northwest of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region.

Tasks:

Leading an international team of experts
Ensuring compliance with product application regulations
Supporting and guiding regional Regulatory Affairs Managers in product evaluation strategies
Main point of contact for customers and partners in evaluating and developing strategies for marketability of product applications
Consulting during product development process regarding application regulations, such as food contact, household and personal care
Communicating with external and internal stakeholders about product applications
Building and maintaining a network, e.g. coordinating with external service providers for best value, problemsolving, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures
Participating in national and international committees and industry associations

Requirements:

Successfully completed degree in natural sciences, e.g. chemistry or similar, preferably with a PhD
Extensive professional experience in Regulatory Affairs related to product and end applications (food contact, personal & home care, cosmetics, drinking water, etc.)
Ideally, first experience in disciplinary leadership, alternatively, professional experience
Ideally, international experience
Fluent in German and English
