    Description

    Web Development Team Lead

    My client, a DTC retailer operating on Shopify Plus is seeking a Development Team Lead to play a pivotal role within the Tech Solutions Unit, leading a team of developers to deliver cutting-edge solutions. This role involves translating business needs into technical solutions, architecting systems, overseeing development, and ensuring thorough testing. Collaboration with Tech Solutions leadership and other stakeholders is essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Application & Web Development

    • Lead the team responsible for managing critical organizational platforms.
    • Oversee integrations with third-party systems like Salesforce and Shopify.
    • Establish engineering processes, including DevOps and quality control.
    • Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with architectural guidelines.
    • Collaborate with the Product Owner throughout the development cycle.

    Research & Experimentation

    • Stay abreast of industry trends and experiment with new technologies to drive innovation.

    Team Oversight and Support

    • Provide guidance and support to team members, including regular check-ins and performance evaluations.
    • Participate in leadership meetings, offering technical insights to support organizational strategies.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years in application development management
    • 7+ years in application development, with experience in architectural design.
    • Extensive knowledge of Shopify, Salesforce, Azure DevOps, C#, .NET Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure cloud platform.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
    • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
