- Oversee the nursing staff for the provision of quality and appropriate resident care thatmeets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
- Schedule and/or perform rounds tomonitorand evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
- Maintain administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
- Assist with hiring nursing staff, oversee the provision of orientation and training, and retain qualified staff to carry out nursing and assisted living programs and services.
- Assistwith developing and implementing the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident population.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to build relationships with internal and external prospects, customers, families, and care providers.
- Evaluate current and potential residents todetermineandmaintainfacility's ability toprovidetheappropriate levelofcare.
- Manage clinical aspects of state or federal government survey processes.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursingand a valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimumof twoyears'management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.
- Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident'sfamilies,and employees.
- Mustpossessadvanced computer skills.
