    Overview:

    As a General Ledger (GL) / Staff Accountant whos a continuous learner and passionate about your work, youre looking for a role that takes your work beyond the tasks of the monthly close and allows you to have a greater impact on the organization. A role where youre part of cohesive team (15) that collectively drives the accounting and finance function and allows you to stretch outside your core tasks and contribute to the business in a meaningful way.     Work Location:

    4600 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley, MN (off Hwy 100 & 55)
    Please note: This role is hybrid. Not considering remote.

    As a GL / Staff Accountant with us, youll share your passion and talents with us in the following ways:

    • Facilitate traditional month end close activities we complete them in a few days on either side of the EOM, so you have time to work on and get involved in other things.
    • Assist with annual planning, forecasting and year-end processes, including working with external auditors.
    • Lead and/or support projects around the development, documentation, and monitoring of our work.
    • Look to continuously improve financial processes, workflows and forms.
    • Ensure were meeting compliance requirements including management and reporting with adherence to GAAP accounting standards.
    • Lead and/or support special project and adhoc tasks as opportunities present themselves.

    The qualifications & experience you bring as a GL / Staff Accountant: GL / Staff Accountant

    • Degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA preferred.
    • 3-5 years of practical accounting experience with strong working knowledge of GAAP.
    • Detail oriented, with strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
    • A self-starter with the ability to work efficiently and with minimal supervision.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable interacting with external and internal partners in a knowledgeable and helpful manner.
