- Ensure proper capitalization of fixed assets and depreciation.
- Audit assistance for the annual external financial statement audit and any governmental agencies (e.g., OC Property tax audit).
- Complete intercompany billingsandcross charges
- Complete monthly review of foreign subsidiaries ensuring proper accruals, AP payments, request for funding and commercial sales billing
- Complete monthly fluctuation analysis for SG&A cost centers
- Record monthly accruals for SG&A and R&D cost centers as assigned (including clinical study accruals)
- Record month end close payroll entries (workers comp, PTO accrual, bonus accrual) and reconcile GL accounts
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations as assigned (fixed assets, payroll liabilities, etc.)
- Research and resolve accounting issues.
- Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; minimum 5 years' Accounting experience, including at least two in Public Accounting
- ERP and intermediate Excel experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
