Description
Ensure proper capitalization of fixed assets and depreciation.Audit assistance for the annual external financial statement audit and any governmental agencies (e.g., OC Property tax audit).
Complete intercompany billingsandcross charges
Complete monthly review of foreign subsidiaries ensuring proper accruals, AP payments, request for funding and commercial sales billing
Complete monthly fluctuation analysis for SG&A cost centers
Record monthly accruals for SG&A and R&D cost centers as assigned (including clinical study accruals)
Record month end close payroll entries (workers comp, PTO accrual, bonus accrual) and reconcile GL accounts
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations as assigned (fixed assets, payroll liabilities, etc.)
Research and resolve accounting issues.
Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested
REQUIREMENTS:
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; minimum 5 years' Accounting experience, including at least two in Public Accounting
ERP and intermediate Excel experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
