- Demonstrate personal safety and help maintain a safe work environment for themselves and fellow members of the DSC-1 team. Responsible for following all company safety rules and guidelines.
- Ensure quality standards and workmanship standards for Sellars products are met on a continuing basis.
- Understand and fully comply with the Sellars' concept of "move to the work." This means ensuring all tasks required to operate efficiently.
- Ensure inventory accuracy of RM and FG.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain all Logistics paperwork.
- Maintain, organize, and coordinate the movement of product(using FIFO methods, if possible).
- Complete and verify all documentation and forms (receipt, inventory, or shipment related) are accurate.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized and efficiently maintained.
- Load and unload trailers, trucks, and containers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Pick and pack customer orders.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of the workings of Sellars Distribution Center.
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills dealing with issues in a positive, complete manner.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Demonstrated capability to function within a team setting
- Flexibility in work assignments and overtime hours.
- Ability to exercise professionalism, courtesy, and tact in dealing with all members of the Sellars organization and external resources.
- Ability to read and interpret all documents used in the Distribution Center.
- Positive work attitude.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse/Distribution Center is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in material handling required.
