    **Cook for Childcare Setting**

    Kitchen Eagle Mountain, Utah Minimum Experience **Entry-level** Compensation **$16.25 Hour** Cook/Chef for Childcare Setting

    Here at A to Z Building Blocks, we are not just a provider of early child care but a safe haven for tiny young learners. We make sure that our people are trained and well- oriented to handle the challenges of tomorrow.

    Responsibilities

    Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

    Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, etc.)

    Cook food in oven and stovetop

    Check food while cooking to stir or turn

    Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

    Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

    Check quality of ingredients

    Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

    Requirements

    Must be 21 years of age or older

    Pass a background clearance

    Be able to cook for a large group of people

    Read and follow standardized recipes

    Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware

    Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods

    Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

    Ability to work in a team

    Good communication skills

    Excellent physical condition and stamina

    Food handlers permit

    Current valid drivers license

    Clean driving record

    Location Eagle Mountain, Utah Minimum Experience Entry-level Compensation $16.25 Hour
