- Use technical requirements to develop fine grained tasking and level-of-effort to achieve project milestones
- Develop Python code for efficiently processing multidimensional data
- Develop REST web services for query and retrieval of data and metadata (i.e. status, availability, etc)
- Containerize processing and web service code and implement container orchestration
- Generate developer and usage documentation for code and services
- Engage with team members to communicate status, delays, and roadblocks
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field
- Proactive problem solver with good communication skills, comfortable working both independently and in a team setting
- Minimum 5 years Python experience
- Experience with processing large multidimensional datasets using libraries such as numpy, pandas, xarray, rasterio, etc.
- Experience with Docker containerization (creating, using & orchestrating)
- Experience developing and documenting REST web services
- U.S. citizen with the ability to maintain a security clearance
