- Partner in the Sales and Operations planning process- focused on capacity constraints and proactive selection of products that should be dual qualified in plants to support production overflow.
- Manages Reactive Needs to unexpected capacity constraints: equipment downtime, unplanned demand, unforeseen issues.
- Creating a project plan to support transfer qualifications and maintaining it; calling out opportunities and risk mitigation needs
- Works with invested internal partners (Sales, Supply Chain, Operations) to proactively identify and prepare "transfer candidates": Customer Requirements, Production capabilities, Material Handling
- Oversee outsourcing procedures- partner to evaluate and understand partner capabilities, capacities, and cost implications.
- Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
- Partners with Director of Supply Chain and Operations Analyst to predict and surface required short- and long-term capital investments. Supports annual capex planning process, budgeting and Hoshin planning.
- Support planning and implement supply chain optimization projects related to dual production facilities, outsourcing, and supporting documents (GMS, OMS, WI, Film movements)
- Develop requirements and standards for data surrounding Product, Vendor, Customer, Manufacturing that support ease of process.
- Creating OMS via the GMS standard documents "recipe for successful production/service/quality needs"
- Oversee outsourcing procedures for Consumer East; and support full PPC as voice of expert.
- Participate and/or responsible for Leadtime communications for Consumer East
- Evaluate vendor operations, support score-card data and reporting templates.
- Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
- Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
- Track KPIs and report on supply chain's performance as it relates to intercompany capacity, outsourcing costs.
- Provide knowledge and support of Master Estimate Creating/Production Scheduling Support for Consumer East as needed.
- Contributing to the further development of the process; continuous improvement process, tools
- Must travel as required; overnight travel may be required.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Buyer, Scheduler, Analyst
- Experience in plant operations, scheduling, outsource supplier relationship.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. Inventory planning, warehouse management)
- Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems
- Analytical mind with business acumen

- Outstanding organizational ability
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- APICS (CPIM) or equivalent certification preferred.

Supply Chain Capacity Planner
In this role you will...
The Supply Chain Capacity Planner will participate in S&OP and drive action from analysis to improve PPC supply chain and plant operations, maximizing utilization and efficiency. This role will partner with cross functional teammates and drive activities to completion related to cross company transfers, outsourcing and proactive planning of products via multi-plant strategy. The role is also accountable to provide updates on key results, communication at all levels. The goal of this position is to act as an advocate of the PPC supply chain/plant operations, supporting the goals of delivering a quality product on time to PPC customers. In the event of absence, these job responsibilities will be covered by the employees in the Production Planning & Scheduling Department.
