- Perform daily system review of the stock on hand.
- Perform daily system review of potential issue and risk to supply to the plant.
- Execute weekly supplier schedule releases.
- Produce weekly supplier arrears report.
- Analyse the system MRP to calculate demand to make sure it is correct to support the demand.
- Update weekly KPI results showing performance.
- Produce weekly spend report analysis compared to the budget of the plant.
- Analyse and fix system issues.
- Review MRP parameters and provide results to plant management.
- Analyse and report days on hand review (DOH per category).
- Support end of production / engineering changes to avoid obsolescence.
- Assess and develop action plan to reduce expedites.
- Support 4PL and confirm the transport order was sent.
- Confirm the collection from suppliers according to the supplier releases.
- Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply, and meet all function related EHS requirements.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
- Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).
- 1 -3 Minimum Years of Experience with SCM. Material Planning in manufacturing facility preferred.
- 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry preferred.
- Experience with MRP SAP Module and Inventory Management.
- Experience with Special Transport Management.
- Experience tracking logistics scorecard/KPIs.
- Experience with MRP Releases.
- Experience handling Supplier Arrears.
- Organizational skills, effective oral and written communication, creative thinking, time management, problem solving, project management, works well with all levels of the organization.

What we offer:The Material Planner is responsible for scheduling suppliers to support the manufacturing plant facility assigned. The job will consist of being responsible of a portfolio of suppliers - and schedule releases weekly.
