    Responsibilities:

    • Formulate and implement comprehensive PR strategies in line with client objectives to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
    • Manage media relations, both internal and external communications, and community outreach efforts.
    • Create engaging press releases, articles, speeches, and other content for dissemination.
    • Secure feature stories, bylines, and technical article placements for clients.
    • Juggle multiple clients simultaneously, evaluating their needs and offering strategic advice.
    • Contribute to the establishment and upkeep of the company's brand image in accordance with organizational values and goals.
    • Foster and maintain relationships with journalists, ensuring prompt responses.
    • Update and maintain media lists, status sheets, and editorial calendars for each PR client.
    • Assist clients during trade shows and events, coordinating media outreach and providing media training.
    • Support the communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership.
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage, proficiently interpreting and reporting PR analytics against client objectives.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and communication methods, sharing insights with colleagues and clients.
    • Ensure flawless execution and oversee project timelines.
    • Adhere to the company's style guide, delivering high-quality, error-free content.
    • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to brainstorm content ideas aligned with the company's strategy and brand initiatives.
    • Serve as a mentor for junior agency associates.

    Requirements:

    • 5-8 years of experience in public relations.
    • Minimum of 2 years in a senior role.
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
    • Strong track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements.
    • Proficiency in project management, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Experience leading or supporting PR campaigns for both B2B and B2C clients.
    • Professional demeanor with excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to present on various industry topics.
    • Previous experience in media relations, including pitching to local/national/trade media outlets and building media relationships.
    • Demonstrated expertise in copywriting, editing, and research with knowledge of AP Style.
    • Understanding of social media strategies and familiarity with current and emerging social media platforms.
    • Proficiency with MS Office, photo and video editing, PR software and tools such as Cision, Meltwater, web analytics (Google Analytics), and other AI-related communications tools.
    • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities with a proactive and action-oriented approach.
    • Strategic and creative mindset.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree (Required)

    Experience:

    • Public Relations: 5 years (Required)
    • Senior PR: 2 years (Required)
    • B2B: 1 year (Preferred)
    • PR Campaign and Media Placement: 3 years (Required)
