Tell us about your department:
This role is on the External Marketplace Services team.

The team's primary goal is to build integrations with third parties allowing the selling of items in external markets, e.g.

Amazon, Google, eBay, etc.

Project Description:
In this role, the BSA will be working on projects and programs spanning multiple applications and integrations.

Candidates would be expected to own requirements documentation for multiple applications, as well as become a domain expert in external marketplace integrations.

Candidates will also be expected to take on the Lead BSA role in programs which primarily touch on new integrations for external marketplaces, whether these consist of adding new partners or expanding existing integrations to offer new modes of fulfillment.

Position Summary/Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Business Systems Analyst that can help act as a Subject Matter Expert on the External Marketplace Services Domain

Primary responsibilities include:

Work closely with the Engineering Manager and Engineering Leads to bring in requirements and break them down into meaningful chunks of work that can be handed over for development and testing
Work closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to groom and refine features so that they are complete and concise.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the External Marketplace Services domain, answering questions from within the team as well as other team members.
Participate in agile ceremonies and if requested, facilitate these meetings
Work closely with the Engineering Manager, Product Managers and Engineering Leads to maintain the team's backlog of work and roadmap.
Define detailed acceptance criteria that covers the details for development, QA automation and testing
Has a good understanding of microservice and the request and response contract
Experience with SQL queries
As needed, help with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Experience using JIRA (or similar story tracking tool) to maintain epics, stories and issues, 2+ years
Experience with SQL queries
Experience writing User Stories, 3+ years
Experience gathering and documenting requirements - 7+ years
Excellent Communication Skills

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?

Experience in retail, specifically eCommerce is usefulo Experience with different modes of retail fulfillment such as shipping (aka parcel delivery), arranged delivery and/or in-store pickup (aka ISPU aka BOPIS) would be ideal
Experience as a subject-matter expert would be applicable
Experience writing technical documentation around microservices request/response contract.
