    Job Description and Duties
    • The Department of Social Services, Information Systems Division (ISD), Innovative Technology Solutions Branch is looking for a Student Assistant to join their team in Sacramento, CA.
    • The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is in search of a highly motivated individual to assist senior staff in developing and maintaining various web application projects.
    • The Student Assistant will be involved in Information Technology (IT) projects, troubleshooting IT system issues, and independently working on information technology systems.
    • Responsibilities include participating in the planning and design of new and ongoing Cloud initiatives and Business Intelligence solutions using technologies such as DotNetNuke, Wordpress, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint Online, PowerBi, Tableau, and Big Data analytics.
    • Additionally, the role involves contributing to the development of client/server platforms utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, and ASP.NET, and applying Agile methodology in structured application programming.
    • Tasks also include working with computer languages and technologies like JavaScript, Angular JS, APIs, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, AJAX, and MVC.
    • Assisting in the implementation of new technologies in the Cloud and Business Intelligence space, as well as programming new system applications to optimize project deployment costs.
