- Power wash exterior of buildings on a regular schedule
- Maintain outdoor stairways, ramps, and railings of buildings
- Maintain floors in conference center, chapel and dining center
- Monitor alarm system, telephone, well pumps, life stations, etc.
- Manage set up of conference center and other facilities for meetings and retreats according to schedule provided by the operations manager
- Manage trash removal daily in kitchen, dining center, and conference center after each use, and maintain trash and recycling area
- Ensure that all buildings are immaculate and ready for use at all times Grounds
- Maintain property (lawns, shrubs, etc.) and manage volunteers assigned to assist including mowing, replanting, reseeding, etc.
- Maintain and clean outdoor furniture, bridges, lake fountain, prayer stations, and Stations of the Cross
- Maintain and repair roads, parking lots, and signage as needed
- Maintain outdoor lighting and replace bulbs as needed
- Power washing and basic cleanup of central shrine Equipment
- Maintain and clean all equipment after each use
- Maintain and recharge all golf carts
- Maintain and monitor use of all retreat center equipment, tools, etc.
- Maintain and monitor security cameras and electric gates Managerial
- Prepare and manage annual budget in partnership with the Operations Manager
- Maintain accurate maintenance log/service calls
- Purchase supplies, cleaning products, etc. and deal with all vendors and county officials
- Monitor all service contracts
- High school degree or equivalent; trade school degree desirable
- 7-10 year's experience as a property manager or handyman
- Familiarity with simple electrical, plumbing and air conditioning repairs
- Ability to operate machinery, tractor, mowers, etc.
- Ability and knowledge of use and repair of lawn equipment and power tools
- Ability to perform carpentry work, repairs and painting
- Excellent communications skills both written and oral
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, push, pull, climb throughout day.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. without assistance.
- Valid drivers license.
