- Respond to and resolve support requests from employees related to computer, network, and server issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems, updating network access requests, and addressing low-voltage wiring.
- Document details and troubleshooting steps taken to identify and resolve issues, collaborating with information systems colleagues for research and documentation purposes.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory and Azure, including creating new user accounts, email, groups, and assigning security settings.
- Travel to various office sites to perform computer and phone-related tasks.
- Assist in IT projects by installing and testing server or user computer upgrades, improvements, or replacements, including system expansions to new facilities.
- Collaborate with external consultants when necessary, requesting assistance and working together on specific tasks.
- Set up computers and phones for new staff, configuring standard software and providing assistance with computer and phone reconnection in case of office rearrangements.
- Provide computer orientation for new staff, helping them access and navigate the network and its resources.
- Computer degree, 2 years technical school, or equivalent work experience.
- Exposure to medium to large environments with 250+ users.
- 2+ years of experience managing Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022.
- 2 years of experience with Office 365, Microsoft Terminal Service, and Citrix environments.
- Experience administering RingCentral or other VoIP systems.
- Strong knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, Tape, Backup Software).
- Strong knowledge of network technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls).
- 2 years of experience troubleshooting Microsoft Networking, TCP/IP, and Windows 10/11.
- Experience setting up mobile devices in Apple and Android environments.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Self-directed and self-starting with good organizational skills.
- Must be able to provide own transportation between various office locations.
