    Description

    Purpose

    The Marketing Analyst, Customer Engagement & Loyalty is responsible for developing a data-driven approach to Save A Lot's new customer engagement and loyalty program. Reporting to the Director of Customer Engagement & Loyalty, the Marketing Analyst will spend their time assisting with the implementation of the customer engagement program and use related tools to build business cases, analytical/financial needs and other growth and development opportunities to support ongoing customer engagement projects. This is an opportunity to drive data-driven change to an organization. This position will partner cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to Marketing, IT, Merchandising, Finance and Retail Operations.

    Responsibilities

  • Analyze campaign results and weekly/monthly reporting metrics in order to draw conclusions to improve and optimize Save A Lot's customer engagement program
  • Identify customer segmentation or targeting opportunities at the network level, market level or store level to drive sales and traffic into stores
  • Design, execute, and measure A/B testing to determine promotions, communications, etc. that have the largest impact on the business
  • Proactively deliver insights to Save A Lot Retail Partners that drive their business forward
  • Utilize data visualizations through the creation of dashboards and presentations to effectively communicate findings
  • Evaluate the structure and offerings of the customer engagement program and suggest and implement any necessary changes to offerings based on rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Work with internal teams as well as Save A Lot Retail Partners to gather and understand detailed functional requirements for program success
  • Perform financial modeling on an ad hoc basis as needed
  • Deliver high-quality analyses for various stakeholders with quick turnaround time
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to identify opportunities to optimize the customer engagement program
  • Assist with other Marketing measurement and analysis as needed
  • About You

  • Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, or any quantitative discipline
  • 3+ years of analytical work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Possess skills in SQL to solve complex problems, optimize queries, or deliver actionable insights
  • Possess deep knowledge and experience in customer loyalty and marketing, combined with a passion for developing and executing strategies to increase customer retention and engagement
  • Demonstrated experience using analytics to make fact-based decisions that improve the effectiveness and the efficiencies of all marketing activities
  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong team player with the ability to take initiative and work well independently
  • High attention to detail with the ability to think critically
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of management
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to ~10% of the time, which may include weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal
  • Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday
  • Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
