    Benefit Specialist - Bethesda, United States - Turn2Partners

    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Responding to HR-related inquiries on benefits enrollment, policies, and HRIS assistance.
    • Managing employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, HRA, 401(k), etc.
    • Updating and maintaining confidential team member records,..
    • Making decisions on eligibility, continuation of benefits, and tracking leave for FMLA-eligible employees.
    • Liaising with vendors, handling insurance carriers, and understanding available benefits.
    • Collaborating with Payroll Manager to ensure accurate benefit payroll deductions in HRIS.
    • Compiling data for compliance audits
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, creating and delivering presentations.
    • Resolving complex benefits.
    • Analyzing and ensuring accuracy of benefits data, file transmissions, and payroll deductions.
    • Responding to unemployment claims, assisting in protest hearings, and maintaining procedural manuals.
    • Ensuring timely benefit transactions to limit company liability and risk.

    Duties:

    • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
    • 3+ years of recent benefits administration experience.
    • Experience using ADP WorkforceNow and other HRIS systems.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Adobe products.
    • Success in developing and managing budgets.
    • Proficient in remote work solutions (Skype, Zoom, MS Teams).
    • Strong customer service, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
    • Knowledgeable in benefits administration, policies, and relevant laws.
