- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process including maintaining accurate personnel profiles in HRIS, collaborating with IT, and managing personnel changes via Jira ticket system
- Process employment verifications, unemployment claims, and EI-9 process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel records, including changes in salaries, benefits, and personal information. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues, ensuring a timely and empathetic response
- Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle new hire enrollments, COBRA administration, life events approval, and perform monthly billing audit
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, time off, and personnel changes)
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies
- Support ad hoc HR initiatives, including company events, and teammate recognition
- Performs other duties as assigned
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Specialist or other HR role partnering with all levels of the organization
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in using ADP WFN
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state HR regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized thinking, and ability to handle multiple and constantly shifting priorities
- Experience working in a variety of modalities (i.e. in-person, remote, out-of-State, etc)

The People Operations Specialist is a key HR role focused on enhancing employee experience, implementing HR policies, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department with a tech-savvy approach.
