    Aegis is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our clients organization. See below for details and please apply if you meet the qualifications

    This position has primary responsibility for planning and executing product development and engineering activities for a diverse range of electronic and electromechanical products.

    Products include embedded computing devices, sensors and actuators, control modules and wiring and harness systems.

    The primary focus of this role is to set the vision and enable teams to deliver products and solutions that meet the needs of our global customer base.


    Responsibilities :
    Provide leadership and direction in the architecture, design, and development of products across multiple products and platforms.

    Provide leadership, coaching and management to ensure the product engineering teams evolve in alignment with technology leadership, business, and customer expectations.

    Develop concepts, proof of concepts, product requirements, time & cost estimates, and related project documentation.
    Prepare schedules for various development projects.
    Oversee the development of technical documents such as user guides, release notes and technical bulletins.
    Coordinate with internal departments, senior management, and external customers to ensure that development projects meet customer demands.
    Partner with major vendors and service providers to ensure they meet the needs of the organization.
    Cooperate with manufacturing to develop and implement effective production and testing solutions for new and existing products.
    Provide leadership for the product development teams in the implementation of Agile methodologies to measure and regularly report on Key Performance Indicators and Metrics

    Consult with and advise peers and business leaders about how to effectively utilize technology solutions to meet current and future commercial needs of the organization in an efficient, sustainable and agile manner.

    Commit to and promote an environment of continuous learning and exploring new technologies. Lead and encourage the team towards a constant learning mindset.

    Drive a supportive and collaborative working climate that results in a highly engaged workforce that is results-focused with a positive and team-oriented attitude.


    Skills & Experience:
    Bachelor's Degree and equivalent experience, preferably in software engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
    Experience building and leading engineering teams.
    10+ years' experience in engineering, product development, product management and a history of executing complex development projects.

    Experience and comfort in open communication and collaboration with others while working in a diverse, team-focused environment that reaches across functional and geographic borders.

    Ability to influence and build consensus and support for development plans, initiatives and strategies.
    C++ Experience
    Embedded coding experience
