    LVI are in search of an Engineer with experience, and interest, in industrial facilities.

    This role will allow you to work closely with engineers, architects, owners, investors, insurance agents and contractors, to provide them with expert-level structural engineering consulting services on industrial, and commercial projects all over the country.

    The company's main functions include performing forensic analyses, property condition assessments, construction administration, waterproofing and air-barrier testing, on-site observations, and reports on new and existing buildings.

    Responsibilities Include:
    Drafting proposals that take personnel needs and budgeting into account.
    Arranging tasks for your supervisor to examine and approve.

    Performing tasks that are specified by the type of outcomes anticipated, necessitating just broad instructions on how to tackle handling unique challenges.

    Overseeing a challenging project or a portion of a project while taking full responsibility for all relevant supervisory tasks, assessing outcomes, and writing reports with little help.

    Assigning duties to project staff members while maintaining a coaching relationship to oversee their technical work.
    Overseeing direct customer interactions within ongoing projects and cultivating connections with external project team members.
    Participating actively in internal technical training.
    Writing formal reports, letter reports, specifications, proposals, and complicated letters with little supervision from a supervisor.
    Taking the lead in project and/or technical conversations with clients and outside project teams.

    Qualifications:


    10+ years of experience in a relevant discipline in structural engineering or engineering mechanics, preferably with experience designing large-scale, non-building structures and/or vital infrastructure.

    An MS or PhD from an ABET-accredited university with a focus in structural engineering or a related discipline.
    Professional Licensure is necessary, and if applicable, S.E License as well.
    Excellent interpersonal abilities. competent in both project scope management and personal time management.
    Capacity to oversee multidisciplinary teams and combine the efforts of multiple technical specialists to provide a workable solution.
    Solid foundation in engineering mechanics, structural dynamics, structural design, and structural analysis.
    Previous experience with corresponding project types and familiarity with relevant external technical resources, such as process industry standards.
    Exhibited sophisticated technical understanding in your field of specialisation.
