Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Consultation: Collaborate with internal teams to assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks, providing recommendations and solutions to enhance security posture.

Policy Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities, and proposing remediation strategies.

Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs to educate employees on security best practices and compliance requirements.

Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to cybersecurity processes, procedures, and incident response plans.

Facilitation: Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions related to cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring productive collaboration and alignment among stakeholders.

Presentation Development: Prepare and deliver presentations on cybersecurity topics to internal teams, executives, and clients as needed.

Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, analysis, and resolution of security incidents and breaches.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices, and recommend enhancements to existing security measures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent certification preferred.
Atleast 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices, including FedRamp and NIST.
Experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits.
Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with incident response and handling security incidents is a plus.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a hypergrowth environment, with a proactive and positive attitude towards challenges.
