    Sales Specialist Position at Sony

    Location: TX - SAN ANTONIO

    Looking for Tech Enthusiasts

    We are on the lookout for a dynamic and tech-savvy individual to join our sales team part-time. As a dedicated specialist, you will have the opportunity to showcase Sony's cutting-edge innovations in consumer electronics including televisions, home theater systems, digital imaging products, and home audio equipment.

    As a Sony Home Electronics Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in representing the Sony brand. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, providing product information, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring an exceptional customer service experience at the local Military Base Exchange.

    Our mission is to simplify the consumer technology buying experience, offer personalized solutions, and enhance brand awareness especially during high-traffic hours.

    Work Schedule:

    • 21 hours per week
    • Thursday 11am - 6pm, Friday 11am - 6pm, Saturday 11am - 6pm

    Responsibilities:

    • Establish strong relationships with Base Exchange customers and staff
    • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable Sony products
    • Guide customers through the sales process with engaging interactions
    • Conduct product training sessions for Base Exchange employees
    • Ensure proper display and functionality of products
    • Submit online reports with feedback, observations, and store photos
    • Maintain communication with the Area Manager

    Requirements:

    • Obtain security clearance for base access
    • Preferably have previous sales or customer service experience
    • Demonstrate enthusiasm for consumer electronics
    • Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    • Have reliable transportation to commute to the Military Base
    • Access to the internet and a smart device for reporting and training
    • Available to work designated shifts
    • Physically capable of standing for long periods, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs independently
