Today, we are the #1 ranked app in our category on the HubSpot Marketplace, serving Fortune 500 companies and growing at 15% month over month. Our team of 11 builders is now hiring our first key GTM roles to scale what we have started.
The Role: A Strategic GTM Leader in the Heart of AI
This is more than a sales role; this is an opportunity to be a foundational pillar of our Go-to-Market team and a strategic partner to the founders. As our first Account Executive in the Bay Area, you will be instrumental in shaping our sales strategy, building our initial customer base, and establishing our presence in the epicenter of the AI world. You will not just be executing a playbook—you will be co-authoring it.
We are looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial seller who is deeply networked in the AI and deep tech ecosystem. You are excited by the prospect of selling a novel, high-value solution and thrive in the ambiguity of an early-stage environment. This role offers a direct path to sales leadership as the company scales.
What You'll Do:
• Be the Tip of the Spear: Personally lead the charge in acquiring our first key enterprise customers, from initial prospecting to deal close.
• Shape the Playbook: Work directly with the CEO to define and refine our sales process, messaging, and GTM strategy.
• Build the Foundation: Establish the sales infrastructure, tools, and best practices that will serve as the foundation for our future sales organization.
• Be the Voice of the Customer: Serve as a critical feedback loop to the product and engineering teams, translating market insights into product innovation.
• Network and Evangelize: Represent Expertise AI at industry events, build relationships with key stakeholders, and become a trusted voice in the AI community.
Who You Are:
• An Experienced AI Seller: You have 5-10 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, with a significant portion of that time spent selling complex AI, machine learning, or deep tech solutions to enterprise customers.
• A Proven Hunter: You have a demonstrated track record of exceeding quota in a fast-paced, outbound-heavy sales environment. You are comfortable building your own pipeline from the ground up.
• Deeply Networked: You have a strong, existing network of contacts within the Bay Area tech ecosystem, including potential customers, partners, and influencers.
• A Strategic Thinker: You are not just a deal closer; you are a strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture and contribute to the overall business strategy.
• Comfortable with Ambiguity: You are a self-starter who can operate effectively with a high degree of autonomy. You see a blank canvas as an opportunity, not a challenge.
