    Starting Pay $ $30.00 per hour.

    Job Overview: The Youth Education Engagement Coordinator is responsible for encouraging, supporting, and driving high levels of youth participation in the education and cultural events, activities, and groups of the SMSC. The Youth Education Engagement Coordinator makes this happen mainly via key youth groups, events, and activities throughout the year. The Youth Education Engagement Coordinator will own the planning, communication, facilitation, coordination & collaboration, and successful execution of activities and events within the Education Department and will collaborate with the Education Director and all other departments across the SMSC to ensure success. This role will live at the center of several departments which all participate in youth activities and events and the Youth Education Engagement Coordinator will operate as the hub for communication, coordination, and relationships.

    Preferred Experience:
    • High School Diploma required; A.A or Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Maintenance of current teaching license if credentialed.
    • 3-5 years of experience with managing youth activities.
    • 3-5 years of education, teaching, or tutoring experience.
    • Proven ability to build relationships across teams and departments.
    • Understanding of, and sensitivity to the Native American experience, especially related to education and academics.
    • Highly organized and detail focused.
    • Communicative, positive, energetic, and flexible.
    • Experienced with Microsoft and Outlook tools.
