Are you a compassionate, organized, and energetic professional looking to make a difference in patients' lives? We're seeking a dedicated individual who can seamlessly blend clinical and administrative skills to provide exceptional care and service to our patients.

This role encompasses the duties of both a Front Office Coordinator and a Medical Assistant, depending on the needs of the day.


Responsibilities:


Administrative

  • Enter patient information and schedule appointments in the EMR system
  • Check patients in and out, including processing and recording payments
  • Obtain and send medical records, clearances, and imaging as ordered by the provider
  • Scan and fax documents

Clinical

  • Assist and complete verification of benefits and prior authorizations
  • Scribe and chart for provider(s) in the EMR system as needed
  • Prepare and administer injectables and medications, including IM injections
  • Perform blood draws and collect UDTs
  • Clean, prepare, and stock medical rooms for the provider, ordering supplies as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • New graduates welcome; 1+ years of related work experience is preferred
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA) is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
  • Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy

Physical Requirements

  • Requires the effective use of office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, phones, and printers
  • Ability to sit at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate via phone and in person in an active office environment
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times
