    UpTerra – Marketing Coordinator

    Functional Areas: Social Media, Market Communications, SEO, Project Management

    Location: Remote or Office in Sausalito, CA

    Time: Part-time with potential for full-time role

    Description:

    We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to oversee and manage marketing projects for our innovative AgTech company. The ideal candidate should have a successful marketing background in agriculture, particularly in crops or livestock, and expertise in social media management. Collaborating closely with our executive team and external partners, you will play a vital role in our fast-growing startup dedicated to enhancing food nutrients, soil health, and resource efficiency.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Manage and coordinate marketing projects to ensure timely execution and success in alignment with strategic goals.
    • Collaborate with product and sales teams to refine messaging strategies.
    • Direct social media activities including content creation, engagement, and scheduling.
    • Deliver monthly performance reports on various marketing platforms.
    • Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies targeting our key audience on social media.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficient in written communication.
    • Strong interpersonal skills essential for team collaboration.
    • Experience in enhancing and expanding social media presence.
    • Familiarity with standard marketing tools like Canva, Figma, and Social Media Scheduling Tools.
    • Computer literacy, including Google and Windows-based software.
    • Self-motivated with proactive problem-solving abilities tailored for a dynamic startup environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
    • Inquisitive nature and perseverance in facing challenges.
    • Passionate about storytelling.
