    As the Director of Diversity and Inclusion, you will be responsible for supporting the value of Inclusion and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion OKRs of the organization while achieving the DEI strategy.

    This role will allow you to refresh the DEI strategy with an opportunity for incredible exposure to a broad group of leaders throughout the enterprise and the opportunity to save lives or assist those who save lives every day.

    The Director of Diversity and Inclusion will also advise the Employee Resource Group program and initiative develop, ensuring it aligns with the overall DEI pillars.

    You will create consistent structure, while partnering with the Regional Diversity Councils, on Senior Diversity Council initiatives to cascade DEI OKRs and ET-approved initiatives in a locally relevant manner.


    The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
    Is a strategic thinker and has excellent execution skills.

    Has consulting or healthcare experience, experience working competently with the talent strategy continuum, including learning and development, talent acquisition, recruitment, and retention, and experience working in a matrix environment for a larger, more complex organization.

    Can properly address concerns and complaints. Can manage a team of DEI Regional Managers. Can create, implement, and evaluate DEI strategies in depth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop, grow, and deepen their competencies in DEI.

    This position will allow you to create meaningful changes and you will be able to apply this learning and growth to other areas of Cleveland Clinic.

    The candidate in this role will be primarily based in Cleveland, however there will be the opportunity to travel to other Northeast Ohio locations.

    This is an on-site roleResponsibilities:Oversees the strategy of the customize D & I plans per region in collaboration with D & I Regional Manager and Human Resource Leader.

    Provides counsel and direction to management in all aspects of diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs.
    Provides overall strategic support for community relations.

    Oversees strategy and provides guidance to D & I Regional Manager in creating initiatives supporting leaders in developing D & I awareness.

    Builds proactive relationships within region supports to have pulse on regional needs and assure D & I programs align appropriately.

    Understands, uses, and interprets D& I and business metrics to identify trends, problem solve and influence change.
    Ensure leaders are informed of D & I initiatives.
    Provides day to day leadership and support to the D & I Regional Managers.
    Performs other duties as assigned.


    Education:
    Bachelor degree in related field required

    Master's plexity of Work:


    High complexity of work, requiring ability to work with and influence a range of stakeholders including executives, subject matter experts, etc.

    Demonstrated ability to build influential relationships, cross-functional partnerships, and gain executive buy-in to effectively influence decisions.

    Strong relationship-building skills with a proven track record of accomplishing work effectively in a multi-functional teamRequires critical thinking skills and decisive judgement skills.

    Demonstrate commitment to and experience in advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion and contributing to an inclusive working environment.


    Work Experience:
    Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in related field including a minimum of 3 years of management experience. Experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion related work preferred.


    Offset:
    A Master's degree and 4 years of relevant experience in the talent solutions field

    Personal Protective Equipment:
    Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment

    Pay RangeMinimum hourly:
    $53.90Maximum hourly:
    $82.19The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
