    Job Description:
    Soliant Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for the Med Surg unit in Lafayette, Louisiana.

    As a Med Surg RN, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the medical-surgical unit.

    This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare team and contribute to the well-being of patients in a fast-paced environment.


    Responsibilities:

    • Perform thorough assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to treatments, reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, treatments, and selfcare techniques.
    • Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records and documentation.

    Requirements:

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana.
    • Minimum of 12 years of recent experience working in a medicalsurgical unit.
    • BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred.
    • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and teamoriented environment.
