The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health in the Program in Public Health at the University of California, Irvine is seeking applicants for a full-time, HS Clinical Associate Professor or Professor to serve as the Director of the M
PHProgram and the Strategic Advisor to Occupational Health.
The program and the department are interested in candidates with a background working in public health, or closely related filed, in government or private sector with exceptional knowledge and understanding of the workforce landscape and how to leverage the M
PHprogram for career placement and increased enrollment.
We encourage applicants with innovative new perspectives and transdisciplinary research approaches, creating opportunities for collaborative research and training within our department, with the other departments in our emerging School of Population and Public Health, with the other schools within the College of Health Sciences (Medicine, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences), or with any of the various research centers at our campus.
Successful candidates are expected to establish and maintain an extramurally funded research program, participate in departmental teaching and mentoring for graduate students, and provide professional service to the program, the university, and the community.
